Prefix Photo magazine is published by Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of photographic, media and digital arts.  Prefix is supported by its members and patrons, and by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Department of Canadian Heritage. Prefix is also supported on a project basis by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Ontario Media Development Corporation, Cultural Careers Council Ontario, and the Toronto Arts Council.
