Rules and Regulations Eligibility This contest is open to residents of any country regardless of age. Prefix’s Board of Directors, employees and prize suppliers, or a member of the immediate family of any of the foregoing persons with whom they are domiciled, are prohibited from participating in this contest. How to enter Any eligible person is automatically entered by completing a subscription form and returning it with payment in the enclosed business reply envelope. Subscriptions with accompanying payments may also be remitted by phone, fax or Internet. Subscriptions must be received and paid for between the dates of November 15, 2006, and January 15, 2007, the contest closing date. Photocopies or other reproductions of the subscription form are acceptable. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be made by an eligible person. A gift subscription entitles only the giver to a contest entry. The prize There is one (1) prize to be won in this contest. The prize consists of an original colour photograph by Edward Burtynsky, titled Shipyard No. 18, Qili Port, Zhejiang Province, China, 28 x 24 inches, mounted, signed and framed, edition 8/25, produced in the year 2005, with a value of $2,800 in Canadian funds. On January 15, 2007, at 12 PM, the winner will be randomly drawn. The odds of being selected will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. General terms The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable. The prize may not be substituted for other items. By entering, entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of Prefix, which are final. Entrants consent to the use of their name in any publicity carried out by Prefix. All entries become the property of Prefix, which assumes no responsibility for entries lost, misplaced, destroyed, or delayed. Prefix reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time or to change the terms of it in any way. To be confirmed, the winner must answer a mathematical skill-testing question, sign a standard Declaration of Compliance with the contest rules, and sign a release form, releasing Prefix from any liability occurring as a result of the prize being awarded.
